Dresden | Apartment in Outer Neustadt, Germany
Bright, very quiet vacation apartment, 31 square meters, furnished with great care. Free Wi-Fi included. Easily accessible from all directions, located on the edge of Dresden’s Neustadt—a Wilhelminian-era neighborhood brimming with charm, history, culture, vibrant scenes, pubs, and shops.

The apartment is located in the heart of Dresden’s lively Neustadt district—the perfect spot for a stay in Dresden!
The streets of Neustadt can get relatively noisy on weekends, so it’s ideal that the vacation rental is situated on a quiet one-way street on the outskirts of the neighborhood. You’ll enjoy the benefits of being right in the heart of the action while still being able to sleep peacefully.

The round dining table with a view of the garden invites you to linger and is a wonderful, sun-drenched spot—not just in the morning. The garden is available to our guests at all times. Separated from the kitchen area by a wall and from the seating area by a sliding curtain, the loft bed (1.40 m wide) is located at a height of approximately 1.30 meters; underneath it, there is a sliding, flexible wardrobe and space for suitcases.
The room is connected via the entryway to a private bathroom with a floor-level shower. Also accessible from the hallway is a separate, private consultation room.

In just a few minutes’ walk, you’ll reach numerous bars, pubs, restaurants, and cafés. The nearest coffee shop is at the Institut für Gute Nachbarschaft on the corner of Nord at the end of the street. There you’ll also find (organic) groceries and daily necessities, and occasionally a concert or a whiskey tasting...
For larger shopping trips, there’s also a supermarket with a bakery just a seven-minute walk away. Perhaps on your way there, you’ll stop by Patisserie émoi, which offers German and French pastries...
There are numerous recreational options in the immediate vicinity, such as a movie theater (a ten-minute walk), a bouldering and climbing gym (a five-minute walk), and various theaters and galleries. In addition, the entire neighborhood is characterized by historic Gründerzeit architecture, and some buildings—such as the Kunsthofpassage—are particularly eye-catching.

The area around Dresden’s Neustadt is exceptionally child-friendly, with numerous playgrounds, small wooded areas, and, above all, thousands of playmates. Alaunpark is just a two-minute walk away, where on a nice day you can have a picnic, barbecue, or play boules, Frisbee, soccer, volleyball—or whatever your heart desires. You can also rent a slackline from us. Upon request, we can provide you with our beloved Dutch tandem bike for your outings.
If the Alaunpark “playground” ever feels too small, the Dresdner Heide is just a ten-minute walk away; the little Prießnitz River winds its way through it, inviting you to take a boat ride. Longer hikes and bike rides through the heath are a wonderful way to spend your time, and well-maintained, signposted hiking trails and mountain bike tracks make planning a breeze.
If you’re in the mood for a larger river than the Prießnitz, head to the Elbe meadows, where you can enjoy cycling, walking, and inline skating. Stroll toward the Blaues Wunder bridge and the beer gardens! Or head toward the Old Town and follow up with a tour of Dresden’s historic city center. After all, famous landmarks such as the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger, City Hall, the Palace, and the Frauenkirche can all be reached in just over half an hour at a leisurely pace.

The connection to Dresden’s public transit network is excellent. It’s a four-minute walk to the Alaunplatz tram stop, from where you can reach almost anywhere within twenty minutes—nonstop, around the clock.
The Neustadt train station is about a 20-minute walk away; from there, you can take many S-Bahn and train lines to reach Dresden’s surrounding areas (such as Saxon Switzerland) or even long-distance destinations. The nearest S-Bahn station at Bischofsplatz is 1.1 km away and can be reached in just over 10 minutes or 2 tram stops.
