Summary: (this review is attached to the bottom, Eli appartment, but we actually stayed at the top appartment, Lauri. But I'm pretty sure everything below applies to both!)Staying with Elena, in Cossogno, was a truly beautiful experience. And I want to credit Elena for every part of it, because it's her who was so kind to us, speaking English and teaching us a few Italian words along the way. She really shows how much she cares for you as a guest and for her appartments.You just notice it in everything. She's proud of what she created and goes to length to explain everything to you, helping you with luggage (which is a bit more challenging because of where the appartment lies on the lovely streets of Cossogno)But it does not stop there. The appartment was very clean and maintained, down to the smallest corner. The layout makes the most of the small space and is both practical and well fitting for the place. Also, Elena made sure it has character and everything you need. No TV, but it does have WiFi, although I really think you'd rather enjoy the place, the garden, the region, the company. Elena is there for a chat or a question when you need her, but gone as soon as she thinks she's redundant. Such a joy.Cossogno is a nice corner of the Lago Maggiore, just 10 to 15 minutes away from the lake, and most scenic attraction in 30-45 minutes. The region can be busy, depending on what you expect and where you go. But Cossogno is quiet and relaxed.Highly recommended! Thank you, Elena!
