Sorbello is a typical farmhouse dating back to the early 20thC when it was nothing more than a simple barn. Recently renovated, original materials were used such as the beautiful terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and tasteful and elegant furniture from the same period characterized by a spacious living area, a fully-equipped kitchen with a fireplace, and bright, comfortable bedrooms. One of the property's best points is its extremely liveable outdoor area with a private pool.
Park
The house is surrounded by about 7000 sq m of landscaped park, completely fenced-in and characterized by a large variety of native trees like olives, cypresses, pines, oaks, and plane trees and colourful plants like oleanders, geraniums, roses, and herbs on the green lawn. It is a garden designed to satisfy the need for relaxing in the pool area, bordered in part by a laurel hedge, a corner of absolute quiet, or under the pergola at the house, next to the old well. In a stone-paved area by the kitchen, a lovely wrought iron gazebo, covered in climbing roses, has been set up with table and chairs and a built-in barbecue and wood stove for alfresco meals and convivial evenings. There is a gravel parking area just inside the entrance iron gate.
Guest access
You have full access to the private villa property grounds as it is rented to one renter at a time. The villa is surrounded by woods and olive trees, offering many shady spots and a furnished garden area including a vine-covered gazebo and a full-length private swimming pool.
The ground floor includes the entrance hall, a spacious living room with a fireplace, TV and doors to the outside. There is a common powder room. The dining room has doors leading to the gardens. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens out onto the furnished, covered gazebo/pergola. The kitchen is large and spacious which is optimal for cooking classes with a beautiful table seating 12. The first floor includes a hallway with door to a covered terrace. One bedroom with a double bed has access to the terrace and has an en-suite bathroom. A second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a private balcony. A smaller bedroom has two single beds that can be placed as a double upon request. It shares a bathroom with one of the matrimonials. This we call our Option A out of 4 sleeping arrangement options depending on the number of guests keeping in mind that the entire property is at your disposal and for private use.
