Positive: The location is spectacular and situated at a little private beach and all rooms- except the toilet- of the house are facing South- East. If you want a maximum of sun, this is the place to be. The view is breathtaking and the murmuring sound of the tiny waves of the lake for sleeping pleasant, if not exciting. Waking up in this house is a delightful experience. Opening the louvers and then the sunshine burst and the glittering waves. We had a SUP board with us and it was possible to start the trip directly from the house. The house has a variety of terraces and a lovely garden. The street above is present but not very disturbing over day, and in the night it is quiet as hardly anybody is driving there. In this property, one can sit inside and outside on one of the many chairs, and enjoy from everywhere the marvelous view. San Siro is one of the top spots of the Lake Como. Almost next door, there is the famous "Villa Gaeta" where a key scene of James Bond "Casino Royal" was captured. Other nearby sightseeing: Two villages further down the road, there is "Villa Carlotta", one of the touristic highlights with a remarkable flower garden, a Walhalla for botanic and landscape gardening enthusiasts and artists.

Negative: It could have been cleaner, to say the least. The pictures representing this property were obviously captured by a skilled photographer. In reality, the furniture is not as new, more basic, and the decoration style not so puristic as on the pictures, but enriched with many personal items collected over the years. A general precaution: The house is seems less suitable for families with small kids under 8 years, due to many sharp edges and the easy accessible, deep lake.
