My villa is 100 meters from the sea and small sandy tongues, 500 meters from the beach of Borgo Marinaro within walking distance, about 700 meters from the remains of the Old Tonnara di Avola, place of the old "Mattanza dei tonni" and the old "Maiazzè" warehouses / stores used for tasting and selling local products. The house is located in a strategic point because in the center of any tourist destination. 2 minutes from the entrance on the CATANIA-GELA highway, 6 km from NOTO, the capital of the Baroque, 6 km from the unspoiled reserve of the Laghetti di Cavagrande, 15 minutes from Siracusa-Ortigia and 10 minutes from Fontane Bianche. At 25 km from Marzamemi, the Vendicari reserve, the Calamosche beach and the long beach of San Lorenzo. At about 6 km, located in Avola Antica, are the Laghetti di Cavagrande, an unspoiled reserve where the ancient river Kakyparis (current river Cassibile) created it over the millennia by digging deep gorges or canyons at different depths that touch the maximum of 507 m. At the bottom of the valley, a system of small waterfalls and ponds (locally called uruvi) has formed, sources of summer refreshment for its numerous visitors who are approached by an ancient suggestive staircase known as "La Scala Cruci".
